Accepting Exotic Pet Appointments
Dr. Troia welcomes a variety of exotic patients, including
- Rabbits
- Ferrets
- Hedgehogs
- Rodents (guinea pigs, rats, gerbils, mice, chinchillas)
- Reptiles & Amphibians (snakes, lizards, turtles, frogs, salamanders)
Please note: Dr. Troia does not see birds or fish at this time. We also do not provide care for primates or any venomous or poisonous species.

Routine & Sick Pet Care for Exotics
We recommend annual wellness exams for all exotic pets. These visits include a full health check as well as a review of your pet’s nutrition, housing, handling, and overall care. Exotic species often mask signs of illness, so early detection is key.
We also offer:
- Beak and Nail Trims
- Vaccinations for applicable species
- Sick visits including (but not limited to) ears, eyes, skin, inappetence & lethargy
