Dr. Kyra Gore
Dr. Gore was born and raised in Georgia, where her early years shaped her passion for communication and compassion. Growing up with a speech impediment, she personally experienced the frustration of not being fully understood. That challenge inspired her lifelong mission—to help animals “speak” through her care and strengthen the bond between pets and their people.
She earned dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Animal Science and Animal Biology from the University of Georgia before attending St. George’s University School of Veterinary Medicine in Grenada. Dr. Gore completed her clinical training at Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine. Her professional interests include preventive care, soft-tissue surgery, dermatology, and dentistry.
Outside the hospital, Dr. Gore enjoys video games, diamond art projects, and exploring the scenic hiking trails around Austin. At home, her mischievous crew of dogs and cats keeps life entertaining—often tattling on one another after their latest adventures.
